ALAÏA F/W 1987 Vintage Corset Suit

Breathtaking vintage two piece tailored suit by Azzedine Alaïa. This is from his Fall Winter 1987 runway collection. This timeless vintage suit is tailored to perfection in classic Alaïa style and features the most incredible details, outstanding construction and is of the highest quality. The perfect piece for an Alaïa collector.

This vintage Azzedine Alaïa runway suit is made from a thick textured wool. The jacket is outstanding; inspired by corsetry, it features corset style seam lines and a bustier/sweetheart like bust line, a notched lapel and black buttons along the front. It gives the most perfect hourglass silhouette. The back of the jacket features a functional hook and eye detail that can be worn partially open. The matching high waisted, fitted pencil skirt falls just above the knee and features perfect seam-lines in classic Alaïa style. Fully lined.

A truly incredible wearable vintage piece by one of the most innovative and celebrated designers. An investment piece which is likely to increase in value.
