The most beautiful vintage jacket by Christian Dior. This special embroidered jacket is from the Gianfranco Ferré era.
Gianfranco Ferré, known as the “architect of fashion” replaced Marc Bohan as the stylistic director of Christian Dior from 1989 until 1996. He was known for his sense of architecture, love of feminine silhouettes, beautiful fabrics and bold use of colour.
This embroidered jacket is made from a beautiful thick wool. The embroidered detail is reminiscent of victorian designs. It has a beautiful shape with rounded shoulders, an asymmetrical lapel and hem. It features faux buttons along the sleeve vent. Such a unique design and a beautiful vintage piece.
