JOHN GALLIANO F/W 2014 Velvet Runway Dress With Crystals FR38

Incredible velvet dress by John Galliano from Fall Winter 2014. The construction of this collection was inspired by the furniture designer Marc Newson. Creative director Bill Gayten focused on silhouettes and fabrics that were both feminine and luxurious with an emphasis on construction. This stunning dress was look number 35 on the runway.

Made from a luxurious silk velvet this spectacular dress is so beautifully constructed. It features velvet panels which are held together with crystal like stones. The crystals shimmer so beautifully in the light. The neckline is a flattering deep V, and the bodice is fitted with a drop waist which falls into the pleated skirt. The closure at the left hand side is the classic vintage inspired Galliano trademark of a row of small buttons. The skirt features a hidden vent on the left hand side, the dress falls just below the knee. It’s certainly very 1920’s inspired in its A - line shape and loose fit.

Please note that this is a second hand item, it is in great condition, the only thing to note is one small button at the side closure has been replaced, this is not noticeable when worn. Please contact us with any questions :)
