CHRISTIAN DIOR DIORLING 1970's Bowling Style Shirt

This bowling style shirt is early 1970s Christian Dior, from the Diorling line 🖤

The Diorling line launched in 1968 as the new ready to wear collection by Christian Dior, designed by John Langberg. It was designed and sold exclusively in London in department stores such as Harrods and Debenhams. The collections consisted of more modern fashion forward pieces which were inspired by and sold to their young stylish London clientele. The line stopped production in 1973 and due to its very short production span, these Diorling pieces are quite rare.

This bowling style shirt is such a unique piece, it is a gorgeous pale salmon colour with a contrasting brown boarder. It does not have a material label but it feels like a heavy linen, it has a beautiful texture. Its lined with satin which makes it super comfortable. It features short sleeves, a three button closure and a large statement 1970s style collar. It is in great condition.
