Azzedine Alaïa was one of the most influential designers of the 1980s, known for his use of knitted fabrics and precise construction.
This knit dress contours the body. Curved seam lines trace across the bodice and hips, shaping the waist and defining Alaïa’s signature sculpted silhouette. The long sleeves are finished in a fine rib knit, extending the line of the arm.
The skirt falls to an asymmetric hem. The dress closes with a zipper at the back.
