A rare vintage Christian Dior choker designed by John Galliano. Part of Galliano’s early years at Dior, the “Maasai” jewellery became one of the most distinctive accessory designs of the period.
This highly collectible Constructed from multiple strands of bronzed glass beads, suspended between crystal-set metal bars and draped closely around the neck. The design reflects Galliano’s fascination with elaborate adornment and historical and cultural references, translated through the theatrical language that defined his early collections for Dior.
Features an adjustable chain fastening at the back.
Dior stamped logo is found on the inside.
Condition: This Christian Dior choker is in very good condition with light wear. Please note there is one crystal missing, the missing crystal is at one of the back panels, so it is not noticeable when worn. Please see the last picture for reference.
