Outstanding dramatic gown by Alexander McQueen from F/W 2013, this incredible piece is a variation of runway look number 5. For F/W 2013 Sarah Burton presented a 10 look collection which awed with pure beauty, inspired by catholicism each look was as dramatic and regal as the next.
The craftsmanship on this decadent dress is incredible; it is made from velvet and silk chiffon, the bodice is embellished with hundreds of pearls, some in the shape of flowers. It features a dramatic chiffon ruffle collar, structured bodice with a light chiffon cape, as well as a long dramatic train. The front of the dress is shorter adding a touch of modernity. The hems are left raw in contrast to the high finishings on bodice.
