WHY WE LOVE IT
From Christian Dior’s Spring Summer 2002 collection, designed by John Galliano.
Part of Galliano’s “Street Chic” collection, a journey drawing inspiration from military, utilitarian, and global references - the runway merged influences ranging from Bedouin dress to urban streetwear. A beige pinstripe version of this trench was presented on the runway.
Made in a beautiful khaki metallic fabric with a soft gold sheen - the surface catches light, shifting between olive and gold tones. It features a relaxed, draped silhouette, this unlined trench features a traditional gun flap, epaulettes, and utilitarian D-rings, finished with reinforced elbow patches and a self-tie belt.
