WHY WE LOVE IT
From Givenchy’s Fall Winter 1999 collection, designed by Alexander McQueen. McQueen opened the collection with a laser show, sending models down a mirrored runway in what was described as “android couture.” The suit reflects the collection’s futuristic aesthetic through its palette and architectural tailoring.
Made from a grey wool flannel woven from mélange yarns, the fabric carries cool blue undertones woven with warm natural fibres. The jacket features an incredible panelled front construction with concealed buttoning, sculpted shoulders, and a defined waist. The matching pencil skirt falls to the knee.
