From Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall Winter 1987 collection. This pink version of this strapless cocktail dress was featured in the 1987 campaign worn by Naomi Campbell, and illustrated in a René Gruau illustration for the house.
Cut in a black textured fabric with sheer organza ruffles framing the neckline and hem, the dress falls into a softly sculpted silhouette, finished with a dramatic organza bow at the back. A perfect example of 1980’s Saint Laurent - chic, amplified through proportion and detail.
